Post 2

So obviously I'm not great at this blogging, b/c it takes me a while to get motivated to write anything else! Since my last blog, there has been a lot happen mainly b/c of the holidays. I got to go to travel and have lunch in Texas with most of my family for my neice Meg's and my sis in law Susan's birthday! That was a lot of fun since I didn't get to see Meg, Matt and Trist on Thanksgiving. They are growing up way too fast! My beautiful neice turned 12, but I still feel like she should be 5.

I had another wedding at the cabin. Heath and Chase did a fabulous job putting up the wedding tent! I don't know what I would have done if Heath and Lacy wouldn't have come down to visit. I guess I would have been out there trying to help Chase put that tent up myself. So thank you Heath for saving our marriage! :)

I hope everyone had a great Christmas! We started our Christmas off at the Henry's. It was a great evening of good food and Quelf-which by the way, I won ;) Then we headed to Branson to spend time with my family. It was a great couple of days of relaxing! I didn't find the shopping deals that I was hoping for though :(

My honeymoon cabin is getting closer to being done! It's now starting to get to the fun part where I have to pick out colors, and furniture! These pictures that I've posted are a few weeks old. I forgot to take more pics for the blog!

Well I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful New Years! As I think about everything that has happened the last year, I'm relieved that I made it through the year. Chase and I have been extremely blessed this last year, but there has been a lot of obstacles in our way. I can't wait to find out what 2010 has to hold for us!

Week 1

Ok, so I have never done a blog before. I have been inspired by my sister-in-law's blogs that were created to help keep all of us updated. I figured it would be a good idea for me since the majority of my family or friends doesn't live close to Hatfield. We'll see..it doesn't hurt to try this right?

The main reason I am starting this blog is a lot of people keep asking about the status of my honeymoon cabin. This is our first week on the cabin! Brandon Burford is great to work with. The weather hasn't been fully cooperative, but it hasn't has seemed to really bother them.

I also received all my wedding chairs, and the wedding tent for this weekend. I think everything is coming together for the wedding. I normally look forward to the weddings that are at the cabin, but this one is going to be so cooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooold.

Chase and I are getting ready for Christmas. Most of our shopping is now done. The only gifts that I'm missing are the bingo gifts, and Chase's gifts. He has been almost impossible to buy for this year. I was expecting a list from him like I normally get at the beginning of November, but all I was told this year was that he has everything that he wants. I guess I should be more thankful to have such an easy going husband, but it makes for picking out his Christmas present hard!

The best part of Christmas this year is getting to decorate. This is the first year to be in our home. The outside is Chase's territory. He keeps going to Wal Mart and eyeing decorations that he is going to get for next year...
